Healthy Eyes

Your eyes need to be healthy and free of disease to be a good candidate for Lasik. If your vision has fluctuated often over the last year, you would not be a good candidate. The same is true if you have glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, or other eye diseases.

Eye Maturity

Pregnancy or Nursing

If you are pregnant or nursing, your eye doctor will suggest that you wait to have Lasik performed.
