Our Optometry Team
Our optometrist, Forgacs O.D., F.A.A.O., has a wealth of knowledge in the optometry field and is trained in physiology, anatomy, and biochemistry. His years of experience allows him to diagnose a range of eye conditions, such as hypertension, macular degeneration, diabetes, and glaucoma. Forgacs O.D., F.A.A.O. is dedicated to improving the lives and eye health of his patients with many eye care services, including low vision therapy, specialty contact lenses, eye exams, and prescription updates.
At our office, we are fortunate to have two other experienced eye doctors: Dr. Benjamin C. Lane and Dr. Robert Maiolo. Dr. Lane is a renowned researcher with multiple degrees and certifications, and his work includes many important discoveries in the world of optometry. Dr. Maiolo has been an eye doctor for more than 35 years during which he acquired an expertise in specialty contact lenses.
Cindy Schafran is our licensed optician who has been practicing with our eye doctors for more than 15 years. She stays up-to-date with the latest eyewear designs and materials to help her patients find the best designs for their needs.
